About

I like figuring out how things work — and making them work better.

Thomas Cardona (TFG.) · Software & Game Developer

My work spans Python automation, web applications and gameplay programming. I enjoy taking a specific problem and building something that makes it easier to handle.

From July 2021 to August 2025, I worked as an IT Administrator & Developer at Risk Alliance Direct. Alongside IT administration, I built tools for PDF quotation conversion, spreadsheet generation and Teams messaging. I also worked on internal messaging and third-party calling integration alongside the company's main developer.

I earned an ordinary Bachelor's degree in Game Design and Production at Abertay University. My university and personal projects include Unreal Engine gameplay systems, Unity interactions and smaller Godot prototypes.

Outside my professional work, I experiment with VR input, self-hosted applications and local AI tools. I describe each project's current status so it's clear what works and what I'm still developing.

01 — Approach

Showing the work

I describe my contribution to each project and distinguish completed work from prototypes and planned features.

02 — Architecture

Keeping systems manageable

I use reusable components and separate data from application logic where that makes a project easier to maintain.

03 — Focus

Practical automation

My professional tools included PDF conversion, spreadsheet generation and Teams messaging automation.
